    Mirai-Josiah

    This event is to help raise awareness and funds for Mirai-Josiah Kushida. Mira has Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare and catastrophic from of Epilepsy that begins in infancy. In 2013 Mirai suffered severe brain damage at the tender age of 4. He lost all his motor skills and verbal skills. Mira’s therapies are extremely beneficial - but they are not covered by OHIP or insurance. Therefore the time has come for help from family, community and anyone touched by Mirai’s story to help him have a chance in life, and continue with his therapies. Your donation and support are greatly appreciated. Lillian - Where there is life, there is hope.

Wasim Baobaid at Storyline Productions created a beautiful tribute to my husband, Paul's memory. Paul was a disabled Canadian Armed Forces Veteran who died as a result of his military duty injury. Paul had a military honour guard funeral and was buried on June 19th, 2017. Wasim documented Paul's burial in a very tasteful and beautiful memorial at the Canadian Military Cemetery, Section 103, Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa. Wasim captured the dignity, quiet and peacefulness of Paul's final memorial and resting place with his creativity and his kind presence.
