This event is to help raise awareness and funds for Mirai-Josiah Kushida. Mira has Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare and catastrophic form of Epilepsy that begins in infancy. In 2013 Mirai suffered severe brain damage at the tender age of 4. He lost all his motor skills and verbal skills. Mira’s therapies are extremely beneficial – but they are not covered by OHIP or insurance.
